Sharrye (Sharon) Schlerf's journey is nothing short of inspiring! She discovered her love for writing and publishing during her college years and quickly established herself in the print industry, non-fiction journalism, column writer, and educational texts.
With her husband's expertise, Gary Schlerf, Author, Publisher, Magazines & Books, as Railroad Historian, encouraged her to venture into non-fiction writing and publishing.
Sharrye's series, Journeys Beyond the Darkness ,'Spiritual Warfare' fiction books gained nationwide recognition. In a new area of genre, inspirational thrillers based on true stories, five books complete the series. A second series for Young Adults is underway.
In 2008, she relocated to Virginia to serve as Chaplain, at Fort Eustis, Return from War, Psychological First Aid provider and trainer and US DHHS SAMHSA Adjunct Faculty, Technical Advisor, Military Services Support, Nationwide until 2016.

In 2012, she joined forces with her husband, Michael W. Newcomb, US Army Veteran, to collaborate in assisting US Armed Forces, Service Members, Veterans and their Families (SMVF) Nationwide. Providing Peer Workforce Career Development and Support Services, and funding Lighthouse Beacon Church Beacon Institute Foundation with books sales. IRS 27-3721969 501(c)3.
